I had just finished mowing 6 acres on my new Kubota B3030 when the next-door neighbor came by to look it over. He was offering various tips and said that I needed to burn “off-road” diesel fuel in the tractor. The manual simply says to use No.2 diesel fuel at temps above 14 F and No.1 diesel fuel at temps below 14 F.

Since I’ve already purchased 10 gal of diesel at the local service station (receipt has DSL 1), am I safe to use this fuel? This is my first tractor and I’m hoping someone can clear this up before I make a mistake.
